We can literally help alter a child’s future by teaching them about Jesus Christ, educating them, making sure they are fed and keeping them healthy.
“Many children in Burkina are considered to be of no value until they reach the age of 18. So, an orphan child is typically just an additional burden to a family who is already struggling to provide for their own children. If we can help them with food assistance and educational support, suddenly that orphan’s value greatly increases.”
Construction of the next 2 classrooms has begun! The deadline for completion is the 30th of September 2010 so we'll be ready for the start of school the first week of October.
